TruMATIC is Migrating to TruPOL

Polygon has upgraded its native token from MATIC to POL. In line with this upgrade, TruFin is introducing TruPOL, our new institutional-grade staking token for Polygon. TruPOL ensures continuity, ecosystem alignment, and seamless liquidity for institutional partners.

We are now in a three-week active migration period. During this time, TruMATIC holders should complete their migration to TruPOL to ensure uninterrupted integrations and future support.

What This Means for You

  • TruMATIC is becoming legacy: minting has stopped; redemption remains available.

  • Active MATIC stake continues to earn: if you’re currently staked via TruMATIC, your position will keep accruing rewards until you migrate.

  • TruPOL is the new standard: all new staking flows and integrations will use TruPOL.

  • Simple migration path: whether you hold TruMATIC or POL directly, the process is straightforward.

How to Migrate

If you hold TruMATIC

  1. Unstake TruMATIC → receive MATIC (after the usual unbonding period of 80 epochs) using the TruFin dApp here https://app.trufin.io/trustake/matic/unstake

  2. Upgrade MATIC → POL via the official Polygon Upgrade Portal

  3. Stake POL → TruPOL using the TruFin dApp here https://app.trufin.io/trustake/polygon/stake

FAQs

Do I need to migrate immediately?

We strongly recommend migrating within the three-week window. After this phase, TruMATIC moves to full legacy status with limited support, and all new integrations will focus on TruPOL.

Will I still earn rewards if I haven’t migrated yet?

Yes. Any active MATIC stake continues earning rewards until you migrate. That said, to ensure long-term compatibility and integrations, migrate within the three-week period.

What happens if I don’t migrate after three weeks?

Redemption of TruMATIC will remain available, but future integrations, liquidity, and product enhancements will center on TruPOL. We may also reduce legacy surface area over time.

Is the migration safe?

Yes. TruPOL uses the same ERC-4626 vault design as TruMATIC, with refreshed audit coverage, delta review, and staging tests.

Will this affect my yields after I migrate?

Your yield profile continues seamlessly in TruPOL, aligned with Polygon’s POL upgrade.

What if I encounter an issue?
